In 2012, The Madras Musical Association under the leadership of Dr. Ravi Santhosham held an exclusive fund-raising musical concert for The Satkaarya Trust. An amount of Rs.3,00,000 was raised to support the needs of our children. This was an important milestone in our journey.
In the year 2017 the founders of Satkaarya had the great opportunity to meet Mr. Wolfgang Muller, Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was gracious enough to invite us to his office to hand over a certain sum of donation towards a few requirements of the children home. We are grateful for this noble gesture.
The 8th of October 2023 BNI CZARS was an unforgettable, red-letter day in the life of the Satkaarya Children. The members of BNI CZARS belonging to Chennai CBDB SOUTH under the Executive Directorship of Mr. Sunil Sethia donated liberally to install a Reverse Osmosis Plant to alleviate the children’s problem of potable drinking water. Special thanks to Mr. Saras Jena the President and Mr. Tharun Krishnakanth without whose tireless efforts this dream would not have become a reality.
Jayanthi * around 7 years old was diagnosed with a congenital disorder called Anterior Ectopic Anus when she met us on 11th of June 2024. What followed was a series of corrective surgeries conducted for a span of almost a year. The arduous path to recovery was expedited owing to a special nursing care, carefully curated diet and diligent follow-ups. Jayanthi is now rearing to foray into serious academic pursuit along with her sibling.
