2 What type of volunteering is possible?

3 Can I celebrate birthdays with the home children?
Yes, you can with prior notice and permission. The number of visitors is restricted to 5
owing to limited space. We will be happy to cut
4 Can we cut birthday cakes with children at the home?
Yes, you can cut cakes and distribute it to staff and children. An early notice of the day and
time will help us to facilitate the celebration.
5 Can we bring cooked food for children?
We politely refuse cooked food, only food prepared in-house will be served, however you
can pay for a meal, click the link below for details.
6 Can I visit the home and serve the food that I sponsored to the children on the day of the event?
Yes, we welcome you, however we request you to adhere to the meal timings, check the
timings over phone as it is bound to vary.
7 Can we commemorate auspicious moments in our family with the home children?
Yes, you can with prior notice and approval. If you plan to serve food please adhere to the
agreed time.
8 Can we donate used clothes?
Yes, we take used clothes if they are in good condition.
9 Can we donate used toys?
We accept used toys but in good condition.
10 Can we donate cash?
Cash Donations only up to Rs.2000 is acceptable.
11 Can we donate grocery or grains?
Yes we are happy to receive grains or grocery.
12 Do you give children for adoption?
No, we do not give children for adoption but we will be happy to guide you to the right
process using our network.
13 Can I refer children whom I know for care?
Child referred to us will undergo preliminary enquiry by our social worker and will be
referred to the child welfare committee for fulfilling admission protocols.
14. Do you run a boy’s home?
As the one run by us earlier is under review we are awaiting further directions by the
concerned authorities.
15. Can I refer my doctor friends for medical camps for the children?
Yes, we welcome the medical fraternity to help our children gain better health and would be
glad to follow up on specific issues.
